At Tea Climber, we’re on a mission to make it easy for everyone to enjoy a truly great cup of Chinese tea—brewed from premium whole leaves.
China grows nearly half the world’s tea (49.21%), making it the world’s largest tea producer. As a tea company founded and rooted in China, we have firsthand experience of a vast treasure trove of extraordinary teas—like Lapsang Souchong, Jin Jun Mei, Dragon Well green tea, Yunnan black tea, and Phoenix Dancong oolong—that remain largely undiscovered by tea lovers globally.
Why are these amazing teas so hard to find outside China? Mainly for two reasons: First, domestic demand is huge. Often, the best leaves are snapped up by local enthusiasts long before they could ever be exported. Second, traditional brewing can be intimidating, involving specialized tools like gaiwans and fairness cups, plus techniques unfamiliar to many Western tea drinkers. These barriers have locked the rich world of Chinese whole-leaf tea away from wider international appreciation.

We built a direct-to-consumer platform connecting global tea lovers with these exceptional Chinese teas. But we went further: we innovated by expertly blending two premium teas in golden ratios for peak flavor and aroma, then sealing them in convenient, easy-to-use tea bags. Now, anyone can savor the authentic richness and celebrated characteristics of top-tier Chinese whole-leaf tea—no gaiwan or expertise needed. Just drop a bag into 8 oz of hot water, steep for 2–3 minutes, and enjoy a perfectly balanced cup of tea—straight from nature to your cup.
