Avoid broken leaves: choose handpicked whole leaves.
By handpicking tea at its peak and sun-drying intact leaves—unlike mechanical methods prone to fragmentation—we preserve nature’s essence for authentic whole-leaf tea with fuller flavor expression.

At Tea Climber, we’re on a mission to make it easy for everyone to enjoy a truly great cup of Chinese tea—brewed from premium whole leaves.
China grows nearly half the world’s tea (49.21%), making it the world’s largest tea producer. As a tea company founded and rooted in China, we have firsthand experience of a vast treasure trove of extraordinary teas—like Lapsang Souchong, Jin Jun Mei, Dragon Well green tea, Yunnan black tea, and Phoenix Dancong oolong—that remain largely undiscovered by tea lovers globally.
Why are these amazing teas so hard to find outside China? Mainly for two reasons: First, domestic demand is huge. Often, the best leaves are snapped up by local enthusiasts long before they could ever be exported. Second, traditional brewing can be intimidating, involving specialized tools like gaiwans and fairness cups, plus techniques unfamiliar to many Western tea drinkers. These barriers have locked the rich world of Chinese whole-leaf tea away from wider international appreciation.
Tea Climber is changing that.
We built a direct-to-consumer platform connecting global tea lovers with these exceptional Chinese teas. But we went further: we innovated by expertly blending two premium teas in golden ratios for peak flavor and aroma, then sealing them in convenient, easy-to-use tea bags. Now, anyone can savor the authentic richness and celebrated characteristics of top-tier Chinese whole-leaf tea—no gaiwan or expertise needed. Just drop a bag into 8 oz of hot water, steep for 2–3 minutes, and enjoy a perfectly balanced cup of tea—straight from nature to your cup.
Recently, I switched from tea powder and tried a Chinese tea from Tea Climber. I was surprised by how sweet, chocolatey, and malty it was. I was completely blown away. Every afternoon, I drop two tea bags into a teapot and let them steep for about 3 minutes, then pour the tea into a glass to cool.

I like tea with some fragrance. The only tea in my life I like the taste of is from China, given by my Chinese brother—I have no words to express how soothing, aromatic, and calm I feel after drinking it. It’s naturally grown on a mountain in that small village; they don’t sell it commercially, it just grows wild, and the aroma is superb.
Then I happened upon Tea Climber and discovered that many of their teas are whole-leaf—just like the ones I drank in China—and they offer an extensive variety. I’ve bought many different tea bags from them; each is truly aromatic, and I love every single one.

Oh wow. Last year I traveled to China and we visited West Lake in Hangzhou. I had a friend living in Hangzhou who was going to take us all around the lake and explore. He called an Uber and brought me just outside the city to the terraced tea plantations, where we rested at a tea house in the middle of a plantation and spent the whole day relaxing, chatting, and watching workers tending to the tea plants.
At the tea plantation, they served us Dragonwell tea sourced from the plantation we were at, as well as many other teas. It was an amazingly relaxing experience. After returning home, I couldn’t stop longing for that Dragonwell aroma, so I tried Tea Climber’s Calm & Refresh green tea. I was delighted to find it tasted just like the tea I had in China—absolutely delicious!

“No tea bags, and no flower-infused blends please. The leaves in tea bags are inferior in quality…” Many tea-loving friends have told me the same, but I’m just too lazy to fuss with complicated brewing tools like a Chinese gaiwan. Yet I love the taste of Chinese tea. Fortunately, I discovered Tea Climber! It perfectly solved my dilemma, and now I can enjoy delicious Chinese tea conveniently in tea bags!
